Mud Glorious Mud

Gotta love MUD!, Well the weather gods had been kind, But with the departure of one worker saw Murphy at his best with Rain, wind, Snow the last week. Friday today, Our new man has to go to School today so we have seen the help of our dear friend Big Thirsty, He is such an amazing person to have around, Tractor duties for him today with Nathan, Tony is getting his side well done most days and has the help of another worker, Nathan & Tony are blessed to have young teenage boys who have hit the age of helpfulness, With this they are now helping out their dads on farm with many chores. Thank goodness for young men. My paddock days have been numbered this week with the chest cold getting worse, So home warmth and chemist drugs for me.

The Reared calves and sheep are now enjoying the taste of Chow, beet etc and are learning the art of an electric fence, always a trying time for both stock and man lol. We have seen a bit of fencing happening this past month with more to come when time allows. We have sent the last of our lambs this week away to the works, This was a great job out of the way.

We have Welcomed a new member to our family with the addition of Storm Roy, Lovely smoke coloured Pup, Can be a little unco but is a hit with the kids.
